- 紫外线(UV)技术广泛应用于水消毒领域,确保UV消毒器剂量输出达标是保障消毒可靠性的核心,而辐射剂量的准确测定是关键。生物剂量法与流体动力学(CFD)模型模拟法是测定UV消毒器剂量的主要方法,其测试原理、准确性、费用、适用场景等均不相同,亟需结合测试实例予以阐明。系统阐述了两种方法的测试流程,并选择U型UV消毒器为研究对象,分别采用生物剂量法和模型模拟法测定其剂量。生物剂量法测试结果表明,在90、106和120 L/h流量下,UV消毒器对受试微生物MS2噬菌体的平均对数灭活率分别为2.74、2.38和2.15,辐射剂量分别为50.7、44.1和39.7 mJ/cm2,而CFD模型模拟法与生物剂量法测定结果之间具有较好的一致性。结合测试结果,进一步对比分析了两种方法的误差来源及优缺点,探讨了潜在的应用场景及优化改进方法。在实际应用中,应综合考虑各项因素,选择测定UV消毒器辐射剂量的适合方法,以提高消毒可靠性。
- Abstract:
- Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection has been widely used in water treatment. To ensure the reliability of UV disinfection, sufficient UV fluence should be delivered in UV disinfector to meet the standard requirement, in which the accurate determination of fluence is the key. Biodosimetry and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model simulation are the main methods for determining fluence in UV disinfector. However, their testing principles, accuracy, cost, and applications are different, which urgently need to be expounded with practical cases to provide references for domestic engineers and technicians. Biodosimetry and model simulation were applied to determine the fluence in a U-shaped UV disinfector. Their testing processes were systematically explained. The results showed that the tested UV disinfector achieved 2.74-lg, 2.38-lg, and 2.15-lg reductions of the challenge microorganism (i.e., MS2 phage), with biodosimetry determined fluences at 50.7 mJ/cm2, 44.1 mJ/cm2, and 39.7 mJ/cm2 for flow rates of 90 L/h, 106 L/h and 120 L/h, respectively. The results from CFD model simulation and biodosimetry were in good agreement. Furthermore, the errors, advantages and disadvantages, application objectives, potential optimization and improvement of the two methods were discussed. In practical applications, various impact factors should be comprehensively considered, and the appropriate method should be selected to improve the reliability of UV disinfection.
