- 开发一种能够实现安全高效的使用点(POU)水消毒的可持续和环境友好的纳米银复合材料仍然是一个挑战。提出一种简单易行的方法并成功制备了均匀负载银纳米粒子(AgNPs)的多乙烯多胺接枝壳聚糖/聚氨酯复合海绵材料(CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag),对其理化性质进行表征,并考察了对大肠杆菌(E. coli)的抑菌/杀菌效果以及用于实际天然水体消毒的可行性。结果表明,在PUF表面形成CS-g-PEPA水凝胶不仅可以使改性海绵负载更多的AgNPs(20.1 mg/g),而且可以有效控制银的缓慢释放(在水中浸泡24 h后银释放率低于0.07%)。CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag表现出高效的杀菌活性,在与菌液接触20 min内能达到100%灭菌,这可能是由于其亲水性提高,能够较快地吸收被微生物污染的水并使菌种与AgNPs接触,提高杀菌效率。此外,CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag还具有良好的重复杀菌性能,并能对实际天然水体进行有效消毒。
- Abstract:
- The development of a sustainable and environmentally friendly silver nanocomposite material capable of achieving safe and efficient point-of-use (POU) water disinfection remains a challenge. In this paper, a simple and easy method was proposed to successfully prepare polyethylene polyamine grafted chitosan/polyurethane composite sponges (CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag) uniformly loaded with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The physicochemical properties of CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag were characterized and their bacteriostatic/bactericidal effects against E. coli as well as the feasibility of their application for disinfection of real natural water bodies were investigated. The results showed that the introduction of CS-g-PEPA hydrogel on the surface of PUF not only enabled the modified sponge to be loaded with more AgNPs (20.1 mg/g), but also effectively controlled the slow release of silver (the rate of silver release was limited to less than 0.07% after immersion in water for 24 h). CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag exhibited highly efficient bactericidal activity, which could reach 100% killing of bacteria within 20 min of contact with the bacterial solution. This may be due to the increased hydrophilicity of CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag, which was able to absorb microbially contaminated water faster and bring the bacterial strains therein into contact with the AgNPs to improve the disinfection efficiency. In addition, CS-g-PEPA/PUF@Ag has commendable repeatable disinfection efficacy and can effectively disinfect actual natural water.
