- 油脂沉积物生成及其聚集引起的污水管网淤积堵塞问题突出,严重影响管网的污水收运能效。为此,选择pH、温度及钙离子浓度这3种影响油脂沉积物生成的主要环境因子,分析油脂沉积物颗粒分布、含水率、皂化率、表面基团组成、亲疏水性等物化特性,研究环境因子对油脂沉积物物化性质的影响规律,并采用XDLVO理论分析油脂沉积物颗粒间的热力学聚集趋势。结果表明,油脂沉积物颗粒平均粒径受上述环境因子影响显著,pH、温度及钙离子浓度的增加均可提高钙基脂肪酸盐的生成速率,并使得油脂沉积物的皂化率升高;碱性、低温及低钙离子浓度条件下油脂沉积界面黏附自由能可降至-44.56 mJ/m2,油脂沉积物聚集黏附过程更易发生。在污水管道淤积管理中,应加强对污水pH和钙离子浓度的监测,需特别注意低温期油脂沉积物淤积堵塞问题。
- Abstract:
- The issue of siltation and blockage in sewage pipe network due to the formation and accumulation of fat, oil, and grease deposits is significant, severely impacting the efficiency of sewage collection and transportation within the network. This study selected the main factors including pH, temperature, and calcium ion concentration affecting fat, oil, and grease deposits formation as influencing variables, and analyzed the physicochemical properties of the deposits, including particle size distribution, moisture content, saponification rate, surface group composition, as well as hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity, aiming to investigate the impact of environmental factors on the physicochemical characteristics of the deposits. Additionally, the thermodynamic aggregation tendency among deposit particles was evaluated using the XDLVO theory. The average particle size of the deposit particles was significantly influenced by the environmental factors. An increase in pH, temperature, and calcium ion concentration enhanced the formation rate of calcium?based fatty acid salts and accelerated the saponification process of the deposits. The interfacial adhesion free energy of the deposits decreased to -44.56 mJ/m2 under alkaline, low temperature, and low calcium ion concentration conditions, thereby facilitating the aggregation and adhesion of the deposits. In the management of sewage pipe siltation, it is crucial to enhance the monitoring of sewage pH and calcium ion concentration. Particular attention should be given to the issue of fat, oil, and grease deposition leading to siltation and blockage during low temperature periods.
